During the Joseon dynasty, rice bran water, or migamsu, was an ancient secret of the Korean royal women for maintaining youthful and radiant skin! BEAUTY OF JOSEON Glow Replenishing Rice Milk brings this tradition into a modern form for all of us! This toner features an innovative two-layer formula: a moisture layer that provides deep hydration and a powder layer that controls sebum. The rice bran, rich in amino acids, minerals, and vitamin E, helps keep the skin hydrated and healthy. On the other hand, the powder balances the oil-moisture levels, keeping sebum in check to prevent pore blockage. Suitable for all skin types, especially mature skin and for combating hyperpigmentation.

Its formula is dermatologist-tested and does not contain harmful or irritating ingredients for the skin, such as: alcohol, parabens, silicones, sulfates, artificial fragrance, essential oils.

Brand

Beauty of Joseon is a skincare brand inspired by the beauty of women during the Korean Joseon Dynasty. During this time, women from this dynasty focused heavily on skincare, aiming to keep their skin very clean and healthy, rather than covering it with heavy makeup. The beauty secrets of these women were recorded in the Gyuhap Chongseo, which is considered the encyclopedia of beauty from the Joseon Dynasty written by Yi Bingheogak, a female scholar born into a prestigious family in 1809, where women were described as having healthy and radiant complexions. Thus, the brand interprets skincare products which primarily focus on combining the magic of traditional plants containing Hanbang (traditional Korean herbal medicine) with modern scientifically-backed ingredients.
