Brand

Beauty of Joseon is a skincare brand inspired by the beauty of women during the Joseon Korean Dynasty. At that time, women of this dynasty focused heavily on skincare to keep it very clean and healthy, rather than covering it with heavy makeup. The beauty secrets of these women were recorded in Gyuhap Chongseo, which is considered the beauty encyclopedia of the Joseon Dynasty, written by Yi Bingheogak, a female scholar born into a prestigious family in 1809, where women are described as having a healthy and radiant complexion. This is how the brand interprets skincare products, which mainly focus on combining the magic of traditional herbs contained in Hanbang (traditional Korean herbal medicine), together with modern ingredients supported, of course, by science.
